"The two prominent rock formations at Nglambor are affectionately called "Kura-Kura Besar" (Big Turtle) and "Kura-Kura Kecil" (Small Turtle) by locals, who believe they are ancient turtles turned to stone to protect the bay from the violent Indian Ocean waves. Fishermen still pay respects before setting sail."
