"The name "Kembang Soka" means "Soka flower" in Javanese, named after the bright orange Soka flowers (Ixora) that bloom abundantly along the riverbanks during the wet season. Local villagers believe the waterfall's reddish stones are stained by the blood of ancient warriors who once fought a great battle in the valley below."
