The highest point of the Menoreh Hills at 1,019 meters above sea level, offering a jaw-dropping panoramic view of four volcanic peaks — Merapi, Merbabu, Sumbing, and Sindoro — rising above a sea of morning clouds.
"Puncak Suroloyo derives its name from a Javanese legend about Prince Suro who climbed the mountain in search of a magical flower to cure his ailing mother. According to oral tradition, the prince meditated at the summit and was granted divine wisdom by the mountain spirits, who revealed to him the interconnectedness of all living things across the four visible volcanoes."
