"The name "Pok Tunggal" means "lone tree" in Javanese, referring to the ancient Duras tree that has stood on the beach for as long as anyone can remember. This remarkable tree, typically found only in deep forests, somehow took root in the coastal sand and became the beach's beloved icon."
